Dr. Nar Maya Thapa holds an MBBS and MS degree from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine (IOM). Her pursuit of excellence led her to further training in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Rhinoplasty, and Facial Plastic Surgery at prestigious institutions worldwide. She completed a Fellowship/Training at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, Shimmian Rhinoplasty Center- Asan Medical Center, South Korea, and St. Vincent’s Hospital and Bondi Junction Hospital, Sydney, Australia. Additionally, she obtained fellowship in Facial plastic Surgery from National Health Service (NHS) Doncaster Royal Infirmary, UK.
Dr. Thapa's commitment to surgical excellence has earned him prestigious awards, including recognition for the Best Dissection at the Nepal Temporal Bone Dissection and Ear Surgery Course in 2003. She was honored as the Best Doctor during the 25th Anniversary of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in 2007.

Dr. Thapa holds the position of Professor and former Head of the Department of ENT-HNS at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. She is the Immediate Past President of the Society of Otolaryngologists of Nepal, President of the SAARC Otolaryngologists Association, and Secretary of the Facial Plastic Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery India Trust (FRCSIT).
